What is energy healing and the reasons I would want one?
Everything in this universe is energy.... Science shows us this and spiritually we are aware of this. For centuries going back to ancient times we have studied energy and used it in the likes of energy healing. There is a Universal life force energy that connects all life with the universe/ greater being. Many cultures have their own different names for this spiritual energy but behind the name we are all referring to the same energy that exists in all living matter. To name a few Japanese call it Ki (which is part of where the name Reiki came from) Chinese refer to it at Chi, and Hindus call it Prana.
We have Nadis and Meridan lines throughout our body which energy flows through as well as our main energy centers called the Chakras which are like spinning energy wheels in the center of our body. The seven main Chakras you may have heard of are the Crown, Third Eye, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral and Root/Base Chakra. (During my healings I focus on additional chakra's than the main 7 just mentioned)
When the energy within our body is out of balance this prevents the flow of the universal life force energy from flowing freely which then as a result affects our emotional, physical, mental & spiritual well being. Our Chakra's are influenced by everything we do and can easily be balanced one day and then unbalanced the next however it is when their are major imbalances that this can really cause problems. This can be built up over time from childhood or a result from trauma, life experiences, emotional distress, our thoughts or even from others around us and the state of your chakra's can really influence many aspects of your life and can also manifest to physical problems.
There are so many benefits an energy healing may assist you with.... whether you wish to just have them for relaxation and to de- stress, or to working on different levels whether that be emotional, mental, physical or spiritual it is all for your highest good and overall wellbeing.
During a healing not only am I balancing your Chakra's but I am also clearing your energy field which is a subtle energy field that surrounds your physical body, this is also referred to as your aura which is unique to each individual and constantly changing. I have completed extensive trainings here in New Zealand on Crystal healing in levels 1, 2 and 3, and also in Usui Ryoho Reiki levels 1, 2 & 3 with full certifications including Reiki Master/Teacher.
Being very spiritually connected since a child this has guided me with my intuitive side where I have spent years learning, growing, practicing and connecting with the universe, angels, ascended masters with pure love and light and will continue to do so.... I always say never stop learning

What does a healing session feel like?
You should feel total relaxation, I even have some clients go to sleep! In terms of what you may experience it can vary from person to person. Some may not feel anything other than deep relaxation or you may feel sensations like warmth, tingling, coolness, even your tummy may rumble as this is a sign of things being released, emotions/ feelings may come up which could have been stored. Regardless of what may or may not be felt the Reiki or Crystal healing will always be working, this is for your greatest good and is a time dedicated for you and only you, in which you are in a safe environment, free of judgment and surrounded in love

How long does the session take?
The healing itself is for 45-60mins then after the session we will have a discussion on the experience and I will also share should you wish what I was able to observe and any intuitive guidance that may have come through. Please allow for extra time in addition to the session time just in case, this can be discussed at time of booking

What should I wear to a healing session?
As you remain fully clothed I would recommend that you wear comfortable clothing, remove any heavy jewelry and shoes. You will be covered in a light blanket and will be lying down on my comfortable massage table

Things to know after your healing session?
Make sure you drink plenty of water after your healing and for the days following, be gentle with yourself and rest where possible. I always advise to avoid booking or scheduling anything immediately after your healing session and take some time to reflect on your healing experience.

Energy healing is extremely gentle and always for your highest good but it can trigger the body’s natural release response such as headaches, runny nose, coughs, tiredness, body aches or emotions as the body is cleansing as part of the healing process. Listen to what your body needs and know that it is all for your highest good, releasing anything that no longer serves you. Some may only require one or two treatments whereas others may require more depending on what is being focused on at the time. this is also wonderful as part of your ongoing self care.... Excuse my analogy but its like servicing your car or getting check ups at the dentist. By keeping up to date with regular maintenance it reduces the chance of bigger problems happening later on and minor problems are easier to deal with at the time. Energy healing is just the same where it works through all areas in your life, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually and this is what will lead you to harmony.

Of course, this is working for your highest good where I only work with love and light and can not cause any harm. It is safe for anyone including pregnant woman, children, babies and even animals
